A short drive either north to the magnificent beaches of the Sunshine coast or south to the Gold Coast, famous for its shopping, surf and nightlife, only increase the attractions of this great city.
With an average age of thirty-three years for its residents, Brisbane is a youthful place to live. The natural vibrancy this lends to the city is complemented by the cultural diversity of the locals.
Over a quarter of Brisbane's population was born overseas and more than fifteen percent of the population speak a language other than English as their native tongue.
