CANBERRA FOR CHILDREN

There's so much for children to see in Canberra - and many of the city's top attractions are as much about learning, doing and touching as they are about seeing.

Our Education Constultant's top 5 days out in Canberra:

Questacon at The National Science and Technology Centre where children and adults can have fun with hands-on science exhibits.

The Children's Gallery at the National Gallery of Australia has a range of exhibitions supported by interactive activities.

National Zoo & Aquarium is set in seven hectares of landscaped bush with barbecue facilities, a coffee shop and free parking.

Fun Factory where children can climb, crawl and slide around a two-teired indoor adventure land. Older children can also practice their driving skills on battery operated quad bikes.

Weston Park is great for outdoor fun with a miniature railway, Canberra's biggest maze, barbecue facilities, playground equipment, large tree houses and lots of space around the lake.

WHAT THE LOCALS SAY
"What isn't there for children to love about Canberra. There are so many things to do for fun. Weston Park is our family all time favourite. We can go there every weekend in summer, the kids always make new friends and we can relax by the BBQ."
